Investment Menu Changes
Updated
by Chandler Julian
If you need to make a change to an investment menu, the change needs to be submitted in writing and signed by members of the plan's investment committee or an authorized fiduciary.
Any change to the investments in a plan's investment menu requires an updated participant fee disclosure (404a-5 disclosure). It is best practice to furnish the new fee disclosure to all eligible employees and plan participants at least 30 days prior to the investment menu change.
